Camp Overview

At Eagles Outdoor Adventure Camp, you’ll set out on a new adventure each day! Activities may include hiking and ice-skating at Pochuck Boardwalk & Skylands Ice World, kayaking the Monskville Reservoir, hiking Ramapo Mountain, playing at Funplex, and exploring botanical gardens. Sprinkled with team-building activities that nurture camper confidence, each alfresco experience is new and exciting.

$425  

A nonrefundable 40% deposit secures your child’s spot. Deposits are not transferable between camps.

Week 1 Tentative Schedule and Supplies Needed
  • Monday- Pochuck Boardwalk & Skylands Ice World
    • Activity: Hiking, Ice Skating
      • Warmer clothing (for ice skating)
      • Helmet (optional, but highly encouraged)
  • Tuesday – Ringwood State Park
    • Activity:  Paddleboarding/Kayaking/Hiking
      • Bathing Suit / Extra clothes
      • Water Shoes
      • Towel
  • Wednesday – Trailside Nature and Science Center
    • Activity: Hiking, Visit interactive nature exhibits
  • Thursday – Lake Hopatcong
    • Activity: Hiking & Swimming
      • Bathing Suit / Extra clothes
      • Water Shoes
      • Towel
  • Friday- Funplex
    • Activity: Water park & indoor amusement activities
      • Bathing Suit / Extra clothes
      • Water Shoes
      • Towel

All programs will include team-building games, activities and outdoor skills. Also, most locations offer concession stands; students may bring money if they’d like to make personal purchases.

*Weather Alert: If light rain, the group will still go to the listed locations. If weather infringes on outdoor activities, the group will be transported to/from the Midland Park campus at 25 Baldin Drive for indoor activities, or specific activities may shift days. Parents will be notified if this occurs.

Week 2 Schedule and Supplies Needed

Each day, we recommend bringing plenty of water, a bagged lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses, sneakers/hiking shoes, and some spending money. Additional supplies are noted in the schedule below:

  • Monday – Alstede Farms
    • Activity: Farm Tour (animals, pick your own fruit, etc.)
  • Tuesday – Ringwood State Park
    • Activity:  Paddleboarding/Kayaking/Hiking
      • Additional Supplies:

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR

  • Pack a lunch (nut-free only please)
  • Bring a large water bottle (1 liter+ recommended, be ready to carry it!)
  • Wear sneakers
  • Bathing suit, flip-flops and towel optional
